CMAS Olympics 2018

Letter from the Principal

Dear Viking Nation,

I hope everyone had a great third quarter.  It is hard to believe we only have one quarter left in the 2017-2018 school year.  I would like to congratulate those students who received awards for making the Superintendent’s and Principal’s Honor Roll and Growth for the 3rd quarter.  Great job and keep up the good work!  I would also like to congratulate all the student athletes who participated in winter sports.  Great job!

We greatly appreciate all students and parents who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences on March 15 and March 20.  Your support and involvement makes a difference in your student’s academic career. Emails and phone calls are effective and convenient forms of communication, but nothing can replace face-to-face interaction.

We encourage all students and parents to check Infinite Campus regularly.  If you were unable to attend conferences, please continue to email teachers with questions or concerns you may have.  Also, a big thank you goes out to the NVMS PTO for providing teacher meals during Parent-Teacher Conferences. The food was awesome!

As we come down the home stretch of the school year, things can get a little crazy.  Spring break, state testing, field trips, and awards assemblies are just a few things that typically take place during the fourth quarter.  Enjoy the activities but do not let them become a distraction. I want to challenge everyone to continue to work hard everyday in order to make North Valley a great school and to reach your full potential as student, musician, athlete, actor, son or daughter, and citizen.  Let’s finish strong!
